Senior Architectural Designer

Hobbs+Black Architects is seeking a Senior Architectural Designer to join the design team working on a broad range of architectural projects, involving both new construction and renovation. Candidates must be motivated, have the ability to work independently, but also collaborating with others in a team environment is a necessity.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor or master degree of architecture with a minimum of 7+ years experience in an architectural practice and have a basic understanding of building systems; candidates with an equivalent amount of work experience will be considered. Knowledge of various architectural styles, project types and ability to freehand sketch is considered an asset.  Technical proficiency and confidence using architectural drafting, modeling and rendering software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, Sketch-Up, 3D Studio Max, and Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, is an asset. Candidates must also possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. We welcome a team-oriented individual to add to our firm’s history of success.
