Consumers Energy Innovation Center

Jackson, Michigan

With the goal of promoting creative thought and innovation within their own company and with partner firms, Consumers Energy purchased the existing 1930s Woolworths building in the heart of downtown Jackson, Michigan. Users of this building are encouraged to be a part of the downtown, using the restaurants and other retail available. Criteria for the project included being certified LEED version 4, meeting specific credits that promote energy efficiencies and employee comforts.
