Dicastal North America Renovation & Addition

The original 550,000 square feet facility was designed by Hobbs+Black as two separate solar panel plants. The industrial facility underwent a renovation for the purpose of manufacturing lightweight aluminum alloy wheels for the automotive industry. The facility provides for melting, casting, heat-treating, machining, painting, and testing of products. Additions for the foundry, wastewater treatment plant, and office were included in the scope of work, and an additional 100,000 square feet was constructed to provide for an employee interconnection between the two manufacturing buildings.
