masonic pathways skilled nursing center
additions & renovation
As part of its continuing dedication to campus improvements, Masonic Pathways is investing in the Michigan Masonic Home (MMH) Skilled Nursing Center. The project involves a multiple phase program of renovations and an expansion of the building’s second floor.
The first phase involves a renovation of the existing skilled nursing center. Two dining rooms will be added to the facility, as well a larger second floor. These expansions will provide area to assist with phasing of the project; included in the work scope is renovation of the entire center core of the floor. Lastly, this phase includes a corridor refresh of all four neighborhoods.
Phase II is a similar program to Phase I without an expansion. This phase includes renovating the existing dining rooms as well as the entire center core of the floor to provide an open and more efficient floor plan. Additionally, a corridor refresh will take place.
Focusing on memory care, Phase III anticipates development of a new skilled nursing center addition to decompress the existing facilities and minimize the number of semi-private beds.
