With company sales rapidly accelerating, in the fall of 2022, Güdel contacted the team of Hobbs+Black and JS Vig to design and construct a new infill building addition between their two existing facilities on Venture Drive south of Ann Arbor. The new 50-foot high, 28,000 sf production space features a multi-head bridge cranes clear span the 100 foot wide shop floor. The addition also includes a two-story, 9600 sf office space for research and engineering.
Headquartered in Langenthal, Switzerland, Güdel is a global automation company specializing in the engineering and assembly of sophisticated production automation gantries that can be configured as single or multi-axis linear motion robots.
