Tower on Grand - Construction Update

The construction team is making significant progress on multiple fronts. Installation of the building’s glass curtain wall is well underway, beginning to define the tower’s exterior and giving the project its distinctive glass façade and views toward the Grand River and downtown Lansing. Curtain wall installation is scheduled to continue through the end of the year, with completion anticipated around the New Year.

Inside the building, the team is utilizing a Dusty Robotics Field Printer to efficiently lay out interior walls directly from the coordinated BIM model. This technology is helping improve accuracy, reduce layout time, and maintain alignment between the design and construction teams as the tower progresses.

At the same time, concrete placement continues, with the structural frame advancing floor by floor. The concrete structure is on track to be completed by October, marking an important milestone as the project transitions from primarily structural construction toward building enclosure and interior build-out.

With the concrete structure nearing completion and the curtain wall steadily moving up the tower, Tower on Grand is rapidly transforming Lansing’s skyline.
