Sustainability

For over 55 years Hobbs+Black Architects has designed buildings that have stood the test of time. It has been our mission to not only create buildings that we can be proud of aesthetically, but understand how we can be good stewards of the environment and the footprint we leave for future generations. We are an interconnected, living ecosystem; it is important that we Incorporate well-being and sustainability into all of our designs.

Global Impact

According to the United Nations Environment Program, buildings and their construction together account for 36 percent of global energy use and 39 percent of energy-related carbon dioxide emissions annually. We would like to join others and work towards creating more sustainable and carbon neutral buildings and be a part of the movement in decarbonization.
